Like so many organizations, Soulful Equine has a vision and we work each day to stay true to that vision in everything we do.
In my earlier article, Integrity Breeds Trust And Loyalty, I said that according to Wikipedia, one way to tell if someone has integrity is to see if “they behave according to the values, beliefs and principles they claim to hold.”
It’s a tall order, and we at Soulful Equine strive for it daily.
We have core principles, and we write about these principles and our experiences in hopes that people will find something useful that gets them one step closer to helping their horses thrive despite domestication.
We are all about natural horse care, and our model is the wild horse. Everyone knows that a horse in domestication may never reach a wild horse model, but that shouldn’t keep us from trying to get as close as possible. Using a wild horse model, quite simply, puts Mother Nature back in the driver’s seat.
This is not to discount some of the wonderful advances that have been made in equine care … it’s simply to say, why not avoid having to resort to those if at all possible?
Benjamin Franklin once stated that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” and that, in a nutshell, is Soulful Equine’s core belief.
We work continuously to get our message out and to let people know that they don’t have to accept mediocrity in their horses’ health. So, since “a picture’s worth a thousand words,” we decided to create a video to let our website visitors know what we’re all about.
